Dr. Katyayani Poole, Ph.D.

I am a professional Vedic Astrologer, or Jyotishi, and serve as Co-Director of Shruti Institute for Vedic Arts in Broomfield, Colorado.  I earned my Ph.D. in Religious Studies (with an emphasis on Vedas, Yoga, and Sanskrit) at the University of California, Santa Barbara.  In addition to my academic studies, I spent 18 years apprenticed to my Guruji, Sri Sri Ravi Shankar from whom I received the transmission of “jyoti” or illumined insight that guides my astrological practice and readings.

This blog is meant to serve my clients and those interested in Jyotisha with daily forecasts and insights.  I also provide natal & progession readings, mentoring opportunities, and certification in Vedic astrology.
